A brief history of about me

Food + Emotion + Nostalgia + Ritual = Nutrition

My given name at birth is Rossana De Angelis, but I go by Roxie (mostly because it’s easier for people to pronounce). I’m first generation Italian-Canadian and as person from Italian decent, my love affair with food basically started at birth. However, there was one problem. I was also born with severe IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), which later included an unbearable intolerance to gluten as well. As I got older and began to become more aware of my condition, I became obsessed with food.
