Rossana De Angelis is the Head Chef / Creator of Chili And Fennel Culinary as well as SageWellness Moksha.

Her life is dedicated to ever-increasing, new levels of culinary goodness for humanity, and it shows. She comes from a long line of fish-mongers from the beautiful coast of Pescara in Abruzzo, Italy, off the Adriatic Sea. Her family continued the tradition by opening a fish market in Toronto (‘Ocean’s Fish Market’) which was a landmark of the Eglinton and Dufferin area of Toronto for 24 years. She’s managed and cheffed (is that a verb?) food all her life, and has a diverse nutritional and culinary background from her travels and studies abroad including the US, South America, and Europe.

Rossana is also a member of the Slow Food philosophy, and she truly and deeply believes in it, and intends to foster a new Slow Food Convivium in Ontario in the near future. Her food creations are extensions of her heart, soul, and passion, and she continues her work in this vein through her travels and exposure to different food cultures, bringing them back to more people, without them even having to leave their dining table.

Chili and fennel culinary, is not your typical catering business. We are a mobile business located in the gta serving all your catering needs.

For those out of the ordinary experiences we have 3 locations:

1. Toronto & GTA for public classes and events

2. Cottages at blue mountain for special weekday and weekend trips

3. In Italy in the marche region enjoying cooking holidays at the farm house (agriturismo) and more.

“rent-a-chef”, cooking holidays and chef school in Italy, weekends @ blue mountain, theme dinners such as “italian job” are just little tastes of what you will enjoy when you hire us. Providing services for private events to corporate function as well as hands-on lessons with a group or one-on-one.
